• Why participate in 3v3 soccer?
o It is a great way for young players to get many “touches” in a game environment on a small field and improve their individual skills.

• What does my child need to bring to practice?
o A ball, water, and a great attitude ready to have fun!
• Where will practices be held?
o Practices will be held at Hellenic Park (2800 McKee Rd, Charlotte, NC)
• When will practices be held?
o There will be 2 training sessions each week. The first full week of training is June 14th.
o No practices the week of June 28th
• Does my child need to be at all practices?
o No, please make as many as you can.
• How long will the 3v3 season last?
o The last tournament in 2010 will be Rock Hill, SC on July 31-August 1.
• What if I can’t make a tournament?
o Make sure that you select which tournaments you plan on attending when completing the registration form.
• What tournaments will we participate in?
o Kick-It (regional qualifier) – Charlotte, NC – June 26-27
o Kick-It (regional qualifier) – Statesville, NC – July 10-11
o Kick-It (national qualifier) – Rock Hill, SC – July 31-August 1
(All teams that participate in a regional qualifier can play in the national qualifier)
• How much are the tournament entry fees?
o The entry fees will vary by tournament and number of players on the team.
o The fees will average $30-$45 for a regional qualifier and $45-$60 for a national qualifier.
• What do players receive if they win?
o The 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place teams receive a medal at the qualifying tournaments. All players receive a T-shirt for each tournament they play in.
• What is a tournament game day like?
o Games normally are scheduled anywhere from 8:00 to 5:00 on Saturday and 8:00 to 3:00 on Sunday. A team will play from 2-4 games on a Saturday and at least 1 game on Sunday (usually a minimum of 2)

• What age group will by child play in?
o The following is a table of how the age groups are divided:

• What can I do to help?
o Each team will need to have a team manager. They will be responsible for registering the team via the website, collecting the entry fee, and any other communications with the team.
o Coaching – some coaching help may be needed depending on the number of younger teams (please contact Sean Carlisle if interested).
