September 19, 2008- The team Inter of the Premier 3v3 Academy boys had a small but very tough group of teams playing in there Regional. They had to play the team from Raleigh 3 times (Raleigh Rockets). One lose, one tie and one win. In the final game on Sunday for the Championship.
The game ended in a two/two tie, forcing over time. Inter won the toss and ended the game in less then 10 seconds. They kicked off and a great pass from Jefferson Patrell allowed Patrick Greene to score the winning goal.
All the boys played very well and showed true team work and sportsmanship throughout the entire weekend. The boys showed they have learned a great deal will working in the Premier 3v3 Academy this past summer.
The Team is now look to a trip to Disney and the World 3v3 Championships!!
