September 19, 2008- The 97 girls Chelsea traveled to Chapel Hill to kick-off their fall season at the Triangle United Fall Classic. Saturday proved to be a successful start by blanking both opponents (Triangle United and FC Cary), by the same score of 4–0. That set up the championship game against an undefeated Triangle United team on Sunday. The girls got down early by one goal, but came back and dominated the rest of the match, winning 6-2. The tournament provided the first 8v8 game experience for the girls, who are playing up this year into the 97 age group. Way to go Chelsea!
