CUFC U10 Hellenic White

The CUFC U10 Hellenic White (Barcelona) Girls won their bracket at the 2009 Piggly Wiggly Shootout March 28th & 29th.  The Tournament was hosted by Mout Pleasant Soccer Club, in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina.  The Barcelona girls began Saturday play with a 3-0 win over WCWAA Blaze.  They went on to face MPSC Fusion (SC) Saturday afternoon and came away with a hard fought 1-1 tie.  Sunday morning the girls played CGSA 98 Shockers (GA) and with a 2-0 win advanced to the finals Sunday afternoon.  The final was a re-match with the CGSA 98 SHocers (GA) resulting in a 1-0 win for the Barcelona girls and the championship trophy!  Congratulations to Coach Will Lyles and the Barcelona Girls!  Way to go United!!
